Tags, Decals and Coverplates
found on equipment inside The Twisted Knot Woodshop

I enjoy the acquisition of, the restoration of and the ultimate useage of old woodworking machines and equipment, which is what the Oldwwmachines list is all about. With over 500 members, we have a lot of machines. Some of them are missing tags, decals or coverplates because they were removed by previous owners or destroyed by abuse.

The ones presented here are from machines that are, as far as I am aware, 100% original to that machine. Sizes and descriptions of the these items along with their locations will be added as time permits
.

The above tags are from my Delta 20" Bandsaw. The upper left is the switch cover plate, the upper right is the tag found on the upper wheel cover and the bottom tag is the serial number plate, which is found at the bottom and rear side of the upper wheel shroud. BOD - March 1959

These two plates are from one of my Delta Unisaws. The one on the left is found on the louvered dust door and the one on the right is the switch plate cover. BOD - December 1946. I have another completely restored Unisaw BOD August 1947 and it's completely restored, too. I'm a happy camper!

These two tags are from my Delta 6" x 48" belt sandah. BOD - March 1951. The first one is the serial number tag. The other one is on the upper side plate that covers the belt.

This tag is from my Walker Turner 24" jig saw. Circa 1957
